When they decided to turn the heat up a notch and add their new Banshee BBQ Sauce to the range, they turned to Oranga for a creative brand and packaging that would sett he world on fire.
Challenge/Process/Solution
How do you squeeze a new range of BBQ sauce alongside some of the most sphincter-puckering Chilli relishes to ever to tickle a masochist’s tongue? And how do you ensure it complements Rock a Doodle Do’s quirky, alternative aesthetic, while screaming its own story? That, in a chilli pepper, was the challenge.
With a name like ‘Banshee’ and a product loaded with the near-death inducing Carolina Reaper chilli, we knew wanted a solution that would draw on the heritage of the deathly portent,without being overly ‘Oirish’. Finding inspiration on album covers from the alternative music scene and applying our usual digital dexterity, we developed this unearthly branding that wails attitude.
