The AltRNA8V antigen discovery engine identifies cancer-specific antigens that are not detected by existing methods, so as to enable the creation of new vaccines for the treatment and prevention of cancer. Oranga Creative was commissioned to design and new logo and develop a bespoke web application to showcase potential solutions in RNA vaccines to possible clients.
Functionality was a priority for the website design. It had to be easy for users to access clear, concise and accurate information, while retaining a sleek, clean and intuitive design. Given the complex nature of the project, it was important for the Oranga team to gain a broad understanding of the subject matter. This was achieved through deep online research, benchmarking broadly comparable areas and close questioning of the client to establish priority functions and required outputs from the site. This proved invaluable in terms of accelerating the delivery process.
The discovery engine uses RNA (ribose nucleic acid) to sequence data, and this graphic element is carried across the site, making it both meaningful and accessible to a broad range of audience groups. In addition, the letters ‘rna’ were incorporated into the logo to further enhance this genome link. Oranga also designed a web-pdf infographic to accompany the campaign.
